EVENT VENUES

All conference functions held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (with the exception of the Young Professionals Committee meeting) will take place at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel (55 West Bay Drive, Erie, PA 16507), whereas all conference functions held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 and Friday, October 11, 2024 (with the exception of the October 10, 2024 Networking Reception) will take place at the Bayfront Convention Center (1 Sassafras Pier, Erie, PA 16507). These two properties are connected via a sky bridge.

CONFERENCE VENUES / HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

The primary hotel at which overnight rooms have been blocked for the 2024 PEDA Fall Conference is the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel (55 West Bay Drive, Erie, PA 16507), though a small number of rooms has also been blocked at the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront (2 Sassafras Pier, Erie, PA 16507). To reserve your overnight room at the discounted rate of $161/night, please visit our customized reservation page, as this is the preferred method for making your overnight accommodations. A secondary option is to directly contact the hotel (Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel: 814-454-2005; Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront: 888-236-2427), in which case the group name "Pennsylvania Economic Development Association", check-in and check-out dates must be given. The deadline to reserve rooms at the PEDA rate is September 12, 2024. After this deadline or once capacity has been reached – whichever comes first – reservations will only be accepted upon availability at prevailing hotel rates.

PARKING

Complimentary parking (with in/out privileges) is available for overnight guests of the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront, who may park in their own hotels’ respective on-site parking garages.

Complimentary parking is also available to conference attendees who are not overnight guests of one of these two hotels. On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, these guests may park in the parking garage at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel (pressing the call button, upon their exit, prompting the Front Desk to open the gate), where all conference-related activities take place that day (with the exception of the Young Professionals Committee meeting). On Thursday, October 10, 2024 and Friday, October 11, 2024, these guests may park in the Bayfront Convention Center’s surface parking lot.

OFF-SITE NETWORKING RECEPTION

Sponsored by MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton LLP, the Networking Reception on Thursday, October 10, 2024, will be held at Pier 6 Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, located at 6 Sassafras Pier, approximately a five minute walk from the Bayfront Convention Center.

ADA RESTRICTIONS / DIETARY RESTRICTIONS / FOOD ALLERGIES

If you have any ADA restrictions, dietary restrictions or food allergies of which you would like PEDA and / or the conference venue to be aware, please list them on the registration form, provide them during the online registration process or contact PEDA headquarters.

Requests for cancellations and refunds must be made via email (to info@peda.org) and received by the date and time listed in the registration brochure. No refunds will be granted after that point. All cancellations and refunds are subject to an administrative fee. No-shows will be billed in full. Substitutions are permitted, but are subject to rate adjustments (i.e., member vs. non-member, early-bird vs. standard, etc.), where applicable.

Information on this page is subject to change.

The dress code for this event is business casual.

Once capacity has been reached for this conference, no further registrations can be accepted. If a registration/payment is received after capacity has been reached, it will be returned or refunded as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Should registration figures exceed room capacity limitations during a portion of a conference – for any reason – PEDA reserves the right to provide a partial refund to some registrants (beginning with the last registration and working backward) in exchange for them forgoing participation in that portion of the event.

Please note some functions of the conference (i.e., off-site reception, etc.) will be held outside the primary conference venues. Please plan to wear comfortable shoes and to allow yourself adequate time to walk between locations.
